![]() The combination with the UForce tank is especially good, with both the 0.2 ohm and 0.4 ohms coils putting out plenty of vapor and doing a fantastic job when it comes to flavor too. It performs excellently with pretty much any tank or atomizer you care to throw on it, and you can always depend on a hard-hitting and responsive vape. The mod responds quickly and works well across the whole wattage range, although I spent more time at around 40 to 50 W than up at the top end. The Voopoo Drag works really well in VW mode. These include protection if you insert your batteries the wrong way around, short circuit protection, over-current protection, overcharging and overdischarge protection, a 10 second cutoff for puffs, temperature protection and a bit of firmware that monitors your batteries’ internal resistance during charging, to ensure safe on-board recharging. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Drag 2 includes plenty of safety features. ![]() You can adjust it through the device but it’s easiest to do it using your computer. This can be a great feature if you put the time into tailoring the power output, but realistically it’s best to just use it for a quick boost at the start of your puff. ![]() These allow you to customize the power output of the Drag over the course of your puff, so you get a custom power curve as you vape. The Drag 2 also features some customizable memory modes, with five in total on the device. They tested the mode with 161 tanks, though, so chances are it’ll perform reasonably well with whatever you’ve got. It’s also designed to protect tanks from burnout, although this is mainly intended for use with the Uforce tank that’s included with the kit (or others in the same line) and won’t work with rebuildables. Fit ModeĪ unique offering on the Drag 2 is “Fit” mode, which makes use of the Gene Fit chip to produce three presets, intended for battery life (1), flavor (2) and clouds (3). Overall, you couldn’t really ask for anything else from a TC mode on a mod. You can also adjust the temperature coefficient of resistance so you can tailor the performance to suit your preferences. It covers the standard temperature control range of 100 to 315 ☌ / 200 to 600 ☏, and you can adjust your ramp-up wattage easily too. The Voopoo Drag 2 also offers a full-featured temperature control mode, which supports vaping with stainless steel, titanium or nickel coils.
